Pokemon Glitch~

I was recently playing my Pokemon Heartgold ROM, When I encountered Silver for the first time in game. Strange thing is, The battle would not start. It froze at this screen. I tried changing the settings on the emulator. No luck. And who is this Writer Wellington, Anyway?
